Granville Street Pedestrian Zone extended to September 7, 2026.
Help shape the future of Granville Street
Together with Downtown VAN, we’re gathering feedback through public and business surveys, transportation and transit data, and input from partners. The feedback will help inform the long-term vision of the Granville Street Plan and potential future pedestrian zones on Granville Street and across Vancouver.
Share your feedback through our public survey, open June 11 to September 7, 2026.
This summer, we have partnered with the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (Downtown VAN) External website, opens in new tab to transform Granville Street into a vibrant pedestrian zone from June 11 to September 7, 2026. This work aligns with the vision set by the Granville Street Plan to establish the Granville Entertainment District as a people-first destination.
The Granville Street Pedestrian Zone welcomes residents and visitors to a people-first street that:
- Supports local businesses
- Creates a dynamic, family-friendly destination space
- Showcases Vancouver and enhances the tournament experience
